ADRIAN-ALEXANDRU IONESCU runs this studio from Strada Bușaga in Noapteș, a village at the edge of the Argeș valley where the mornings arrive cool and the roads climb before they reach the town. The collection was built around a narrow idea: a dress and a knit that belong to the same wardrobe rather than two separate purchases. Four dresses, from a shirred halter mini to a lace midi with bishop sleeves, sit beside four pullovers in stripe, texture and cable, and the whole range holds to one warm, earthy story. Nothing joins the rail unless it answers at least two pieces already on it, which is why the line is eight pieces and not thirty.
Waistband first, hem second
A dress is decided at the waistband and a knit at the cuff. Every shirred panel is worn for a full working day before approval, and every elastic waist is checked for recovery after washing, because a skirt that slides below the waist cannot be repaired by styling. Plaid is cut so the check runs continuously across the side seam and the zip rather than meeting by accident at the hip. Knitwear is worked in a gauge that keeps its width through a season, washed twice and measured flat, so a stripe does not stretch into a different pattern by February. If a sample grows at the hem or waves at the placket, the pattern returns to the table instead of the site.
Orders, delivery and returns
Parcels leave Noapteș within one to two business days and reach European Union addresses in three to six days. Returns are open for fourteen days from delivery, free of charge inside the EU, with refunds issued within fourteen days of approval. If you are between sizes, send two measurements and we will compare them with the production sample before you order rather than after the parcel arrives. Every message is answered by the person who packed the order, usually within one business day.
